Directions: rewrite the following sentences to replace vague language with precise language.

Vague Sentence à I think that there should be law against using too much water.

Precise Sentence à It should be illegal to waste water.

Today we did a mock debate. For homework, you need to do the following:

Write a one page reflection on today’s activity. What was good about it? What was bad? What could we change? Was your Voice/Opinion heard? What was it like arguing a side if you didn’t agree with it? Reflect on the debate. 1 page long. No less.

High School Tech Assignment

Sup kidz! 

Your assignment, should you choose to accept (just kidding...you HAVE to accept), is to research TWO high schools in the city. 

Directions: 

1. Google two high schools in Chicago (or a suburb if you know of any). You can google "Best Chicago High Schools"
2. Can not Google Juarez. Why? Because I know everyone would pick that one!
3. Click on their website and tell me about them. It does not have to be long. 3 full sentences each. 
4. You can describe their website AND why you picked this school.
